Cute restaurant near the ferry. I was not able to stay long and enjoy an entree. The appetizers are good. Worth going back and enjoying. Seems to be a popular after work setting.

Best food and drinks on staten island. Atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Food is great, with daily specials and prefix meals. The tapas are the best in my opinion, you can sample a few different dishes rather than ordering one meal. The bartender, Mario, is the best. Drinks from the menu are great, and even special requests are made to perfection. Good for date night or even with a group of people. It's a small place but that's what makes it so great

What an absolutely great little place. Very comfortable all the staff are absolutely terrific, food is excellent, service is quick and very good. Love going here and just spending time with a friend.

Food was absolutely amazing. I could smell the flavor if that makes sense. They also make amazing cocktails.

I've been here many times. Good, not great food, but nice ambiance and decent prices & service. Seating is a bit tight, but that's the case with many restaurants. Best in category on Staten Island.

The food was delicious! I told the waiter it was my best friend's birthday but not even a candle on a small piece of pastry was brought over to us. I believe a little special attention to the patrons would generate return visits.

The food and drinks here are terrific - some of the best seafood and steak on the island. The downside is they don’t take dinner reservations and at times the wait has been over an hour. Seating can be crammed and awkward, recently elected to have brunch at the bar with a friend because we were seated literally a foot from the kitchen and the waiters kept going in and out and bumping into us.

Superb Tapas, lovely inn within a very short walk from the S..I. Ferry. Pricey, but worth it.

My favorite restaurant on Staten Island ! Beso is consistently great as far as food, service and drinks go. Incredibly reasonable for what you get. If you haven't been, definitely visit. You can choose a bunch of their delicious tapas, meals or a mixture of both depending on what you like. No matter what, I suggest you to get either of the guacamole tapas on the menu. Enjoy!

Excellent food. Superb service, wonderful cozy ambience. Served perfectly for our family reunion albeit small but memorable. Highly recommend it.

Our first time at Beso and will not be the last. Had 9:00PM reservations, were promptly seated at 9:00PM. Fast and attentive service, our server Karen (I believe was her name, if not - sorry) was knowledgeable of the menu and extremely helpful. We ordered 7 tapas plates and each was as good or better than the last, compliments to the kitchen staff. A must try!

Delicious food and great margaritas. Might have been the best jalapeno margarita I've had.

So good! We sat at the bar because it's was full but still great! The chips and guac are amazing. They make the chips homemade right there for you.

My first time at Beso was Awsome , The service the food the atmosphere the live music. just all around good place for a nice dinner with friends or romantic dinner with your partner. I definitely recommend it and will definitely go back.its worth the drive from Howard beach. 👍👍👍👍😁another satisfied customer.

Lovely, quite and secured bar. I went in there with a friend, despite my skin colors, no one cares here, it's all inclusive and very welcoming to everyone. With few dollars, you could have drinks and enjoy yourselves.

Watered Down!!I really had high hopes I was really disappointed. The service was okay. The ambiance was authentic but the food is where everything fell flat. The beso chicken wasn't well seasoned nor did it look appetizing to the eyes. My fiancee duck while it tasted good was not a large enough portion for the price. For a 63 dollar meal that left everyone incredibly hungry because it didnt fill anyone at all. Not to mention the watered down ginger ale which shocked me. I never knew anyone to water down soda. The point is I won't be coming back to Beso. Hopefully the next person has a better experience than I did and feel like it was worth the money, because it wasn't worth mine.

Come here a lot. Food is always consistently good, but seem to always have an issue with the servers. Even on weekdays when it’s not too busy, waiters are always inattentive.

I don’t like many eateries on Staten Island but Besos is hands down my fave. I 100% applaud them, with all the madness going on they are still up and running. The customer service is Amazing. I’m not sure the gentleman’s name that was there but he was doing a phenomenal job. He was very considerate and literally had everything flowing so smoothly despite the changes and level of orders that were coming through. I was very impressed and it just made me love besos even more. My order was on point and the food was perfect! Great job ! Keep being the best!

Highly recommend! This restaurant was recommended to me when I was on the ferry being a tourist and having a look at the Statue of Liberty. The staff are very attentive and the food is lovely. Just as an FYI if you want happy hour sit at the bar!

First time dining at Beso. Service was very good. Asked about gluten free menu, and the waiter brought us one. Food is very good. Will be going back again very soon.

Great food, and service, not rushed at all and tapas came out quick! -- took my 11 yr old & 14 yr old ....they thought they weren't going to like anyrhing...ended up LOVING !! Chicken wings, fries & rice & beans and of course GUACAMOLE w/ chips. ...also had paella with the mango arugula salad....WOW! ...What a great dinner after shopping the "EMPIRE OUTLETS"

I was in the St George area and we met some friends and sat at the bar during happy hour at Beso. Their tapas prices were very reasonable at under $5 per dish, especially considering the quality of the food. The place is reminiscent of a modern tavern on the inside and has an upscale but comfortable feel. Would highly recommend this place! The atmosphere is truly welcoming. I would mention the amazing service we received in my review. I forgot the name of our server, but he was very attentive and accommodated all our requests with a smile on his face.

This is a quaint local spot. Great atmosphere. Great food.. hard to get a table in a Friday night but the bar area was open. This restaurant is in the St. George area not far from the ferry so it's even easy to get to from Manhattan. We shared the chorizo which was really tasty but slightly on the oily side. My friend had the steak which was very tasty and certainly large enough for one very hungry person. I had the seafood pasta dish.

Delicious and always enjoyable. They are known for their tapas menu but they also serve entrees. Best yet, it's a short walk from the Staten Island Ferry. If you're visiting NYC and riding the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, plan your trip to include a stop over for dinner there. The restaurant is small and intimate, so call ahead for a table.

This is probably the best place at Staten Island, it's right cross from the ferry terminal so location is just perfect. Atmosphere is just amazing. Great decoration and vibes. Food tasted amazing and very flavorful. Lot of great taps on offer. Ajillo was just amazing. Even the bread you get on the table was great especially that dipping salsa.

Beso, the classical Italian Bistro, considered possibly, argueably, the most delicious, most influential, and most popular Italian Bistro/restaruant/dining spot in at least the north shore hub/neighborhood of St. George, easily the best and tastiest restaurant, without a doubt, off of or on the road/block/street of Richmond Terrace, definetly the best Italian spot in the 10301 neighborhood/zip code. This area of St. George, Tompkinsville, New Brighton, and Stapleton/Park Hill are most definetly known for their Sri Lanka population, culture, heritage, and especially dining establishments/restaurants located in Tompkinsville off of Corson Ave and Daniel Low Terrace, and the world rebounded, NYC famous Sri Lankan restaurant on the corner of Broad Street and Bay Street. Usually when those specific neighborhoods are thought of people usually think of the Sri Lankan restaruants but Beso's is surely, easily, the BEST place to eat in the greater St George (New Staten Island Downtown area).

The pictures don't do this food and desert any justice. The ambience was definitely nice and the food as well as desert was delicious. The staff was very accommodating, but I do suggest you get reservations. No worries, I didn't have a reservation and they still accommodated me.

I love this restaurant! But today the bartender is the worse I ever see , he spent like 30 minutes talking with other customers and my husband and me waiting for a service ,, ... Never asked what we want..... This is the first that sh.... Happened. Most of the staff doing a great job I'm so upset I hope I don't see him again

I frequent this outstanding place once a month as I enjoy the ambiance that is exist in this restaurant. The crew is very attentive and well trained. The service is absolutely quick. Most important, the food they serve is magnificent. I frequent more than once and I was never disappointed. The rate is fair. I recommend this place to my friends and family.

Not your ordinary Spanish restaurant. Excellent sangria. Special 3 course pricing Monday through Wednesday. Also, they have a Sunday brunch special.

Paella was good. Sea food and chorizo was plenty, rice was juicy soaked with seafood juice.

Fine Spanish restaurant. We had a tasty meal with our family of six, two senior, two children and two other adults. The staff was welcoming and was open to the fact that we wanted to share plates among all of us. Good quality food, tasty and quality ingredients. Take the free Staten Island ferry, enjoy dinner or lunch at Beso and embrace the skyline views of Manhatten, it is a unique experience.

Nice vibe, nice service, great Cuban steak with salad of tomatoes, basil and mint. Who knew it would be so delicious. Oh, clam appetizer is delicious too!

It's true what they say about this place. It's really one of the best restaurants on Staten Island. Everything we ate was delicious, service was awesome and the ambiance is great. We will definitely coming back here to try more dishes and drinks. Parking is really tough in the area though.

Excellent food. Great atmosphere. I came here for dinner and fell in love with this place. They have good music, amazing food with great flavors and great service. The lamb chops are so good it's a must! Everything was spectacular from top to bottom. They have an amazing selection of tapas and different dishes. I had the paella and so far it has been one of the most delicious paellas I've had in my life, the portion was ridiculous and the flavors were out of this world. Really recommend this place.

I took my mother here for her birthday and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the servers were very friendly and attentive Kenneth and Bryan excellent service overall.
